Earlier this week we did a review of the Ouku Tablet, a low-cost Android 2.1 Tablet. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the time to make a hands-on video of my own for it. I was however able to find a couple videos that show off the screen’s responsiveness and speed, as well as a few other features.

We’ve had a couple days now to play with the Ouku Tab, and are happy to say that it surprised us a bit. It hasn’t got too much to brag about in the way of specs, and it only runs on Android 2.1 Eclair, but it’s a pretty decent 7″ tablet considering the price tag.

Decent low-cost tablets are hard to come by these days, but every once in a while the price meets performance. On our weekly trip to the grey markets we came across the Ouku Tab, and decided to give it a whirl. To be honest it was the price that caught our eye, but after playing with the demo a bit we were convinced of it’s potential. We’ve brought it home, and will have the hands-on review for you in the next couple days!
