Taiwanese news sources are reporting that manufacturers in Taiwan have already begun producing parts for the iPad 3. They also claim that it is likely that the third generation iPad will be previewed at Apple’s upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June. Supposedly the latest iPad will boast a new screen, 4G compatibility, a 3MP front facing camera, and a 7MP back facing one. Apple have previously shot down gossip of an iPad 3 release this year, but these latest claims come directly from the manufacturers, giving the rumor more credibility.
